Hi Beauties, I'm back with another post! This time I am sharing 5 of my favorite must have fruity floral fragrances.
To know me is to know I love fragrances. Over the past year my collection has grown from a few bottles to me now needing multiple acrylic stands to display all of babies. I have even gotten to the point where I can smell a perfume and pretty much be able to tell you the exact notes that are in it! Very much obsessed at this point. It's a healthy obsession...right? After learning notes, I was able to identity which fragrance families I really like, and for the warmer months I am definitely a fruity floral girl. The playful notes of raspberries, peaches, lemons married together with jasmine, peony and lavender. Absolutely chef's kiss! Below are my 5 favorite fruity floral scents. It was a challenge to narrow it down to only 5, but I feel like these are must haves for every beauty out there. These are in no particular order of ranking.
She is that girl! Whenever I wear her I feel like a sparkling, refreshing fruit snack lol. She opens with a burst of strawberries and raspberries. Some of the middle notes include peony, Chinese jasmine and orange blossom. At the base you get vanilla, patchouli, and white musk, which gives it that grown and sexy vibe. If Victoria Secret's Strawberry Champagne had you in a chokehold as a teen, you will love this fragrance.
If I had to pick a signature scent, this would hands down be it! She's giving pretty privilege. She's giving "On Wednesdays we wear pink" She's giving the girl that every guy wants to be with and the one that all the girlies want to be. Born In Roma is a very feminine and alluring scent. One that you definitely want to keep in your line up year round. The opening notes are black currant and bergamot. It dries down to jasmine grandiflorum, jasmine sambac and jasmine tea. With bourbon vanilla, casmeran and wood essence at the base. Run....don't walk to go get this!
Now this one isn't the girl to grab if you're trying to make a statement. However she is great for layering. This scent makes me feel like I live a soft life and get treated like a pretty princess. I love to pair this with my Gucci Guilty, which is another great scent for layering. The key notes in this one are lemon, ginger, rose and peony. If you want to feel dainty and pretty, this is definitely the scent to grab.
4. YSL Libre
I feel like all the girls have this one. We know her. We love her. She is the rich auntie that drives a Benz with the corporate job and all her bills are on auto pay. This scent will make you smell like you have money without spending MFK money. The key notes are lavender, orange blossom and musk. This is just an overall classy scent!
5. Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia
This one I don't own...yet! It is however on my wishlist. My birthday is coming up in November so if you're reading this and you're feeling generous. I smelled this while I was working at Gucci and it was love at first spray. The notes of pear, white gardenia and brown sugar blend so well together. It's like a kick of energy in a bottle. Alessandro Michele was on to something with this fragrance.
The fruity floral fragrance family a the favorite for most people for obvious reasons. Most of these scents are light, feminine and refreshing. These are great scents to start out with if you're just beginning your perfume journey.
Check back for my favorite fall scents, because I think we all agree that we are over this summer heat and we are ready for pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks.
Until next time, stay beautiful my loves!
