My Favorite Places to Shop for Basics

How many of us have gone through periods where we hate everything in our closet? A sea full of clothes and nothing quite speaks to you anymore. That is where I'm currently at with my wardrobe. Aside from not being to fit anything, because of my new Covid weight, my style has changed. My phase of colorful prints and sweatshirts with cute sayings has come to an end. Give me some good basics in a neutral color palette and I'm all over it. There are few a brands that understand the assignment when it comes to quality basics in those solid colors. 

Aritzia 

Their sweat sets come in the most rich brown/ nude tones. The thing that I love about Aritzia is that they offer a lot of their bottoms in a short, regular and tall inseam. Which makes it super easy for the petite and stallions to shop. We love a size inclusive brand, yes?

Forever 21

I know when most people hear Forever 21, quality clothing isn't the first thing that comes to mind. However their premium and sustainable collection has some gems.

I stumbled across this brand on YouTube while I was in the process of launching my T-shirt line. The brand is female -owned ( LOVE TO SEE IT) and black- owned ( LOVE TO SEE IT). The thing that I love about The Blank Wardrobe is that they offer their sweats in sets. However if your top and bottom are different sizes, they do have a Basics Shop where you can purchase items separately.
